Require Pledge of Allegiance and Allow Student-Led Prayer in Public Schools Amendment

A proposed constitutional amendment that would require K–12 public schools to conduct the Pledge of Allegiance and permit student-led, student-initiated prayer in public schools. Participation is voluntary for both. A question of religious freedom in the public education system.

Protect Women and Girls Sports Act
A proposed law that would require students on all K-12 and collegiate school sports teams to participate on the team that accords with their biological sex. At stake is the legal definition of sex in athletics and preserving the integrity of girls’ sports.

Protect Children From Irreversible Sex Change Surgery Act
A proposed law that would prohibit healthcare professionals from prescribing or performing any sex-change surgeries on minors. It is the most consequential issue to appear on the ballot in 2026, as it deals with both the nature of human embodiment and protections for children.

Remove Same-Sex Marriage Ban Amendment

A proposed constitutional amendment that would repeal Virginia's current constitutional definition of marriage as between a man and a woman and replace it with language requiring the state to recognize marriages without regard to sex or gender.

Right to Reproductive Freedom Amendment
A proposed constitutional amendment that would codify abortion as a right in the state, and restrict the state legislature from adding any protections for the unborn in the first two trimesters. If passed, this would erase protections owed to unborn children.

An initiative to reinstate several parental rights previously approved by the citizens during the 2024 cycle in Initiative 2081. These include the right to review classroom materials beforehand and opt-out of certain classes.

Defending Equity in Interscholastic Sports Act
A proposed law that would limit participation in girls’ sports only to biological females, as verified by the student's healthcare provider as part of the routine sports physical. Washington joins with several states seeking to preserve the integrity of girls’ sports.

Prohibit Closure of Places of Worship During States of Emergency Amendment
