Virginia's 2026 ballot includes two constitutional amendments of moral significance. One would establish a fundamental right to reproductive freedom, including abortion, in the state constitution. The other would repeal the state's constitutional definition of marriage as between a man and a woman and replace it with language requiring the state to recognize marriages without regard to sex or gender.
